The Helping Hands Foundation was established by Bank Independent as a program in 2011 following the tornadoes and gained official nonprofit foundation status in 2022. It is dedicated to meeting real needs in our North Alabama communities. Through seasonal Share Drives and volunteer efforts, we partner with local organizations to provide food, shelter, school supplies, toys, and more—ensuring every dollar and every hour stays local and makes a difference.
