Important Information About Upcoming Maintenance

  • November 15 and 16, 2013

    Bank Independent will be making enhancements to our system infrastructure beginning Friday, November 15, 2013. We’d like for you to be aware of some temporary limitations that may affect your banking as we complete this maintenance:


    Friday, November 15, 2013 

    • Mobile Deposit: Any items deposited on Friday, November 15 using the Mobile Deposit feature on the Bank Independent Mobile Banking app will not be processed until the maintenance is complete on the evening of Saturday, November 16. 


    Saturday, November 16, 2013

    • In-Branch Transactions: Although our sales offices will be open regular hours (see bibank.com/locations for Saturday banking locations and hours), transactions made on Saturday, November 16 will not be processed until maintenance is complete on the evening of Saturday, November 16.
    • ATM Withdrawals: ATMs will be available throughout the system maintenance, but withdrawals made at ATMS on Saturday, November 16 will not be deducted from your available balance total until system maintenance is completed on Saturday evening, and ATM receipts printed during this time will not reflect an up-to-date balance.
    • Automated Transactions: Automated transactions including ACH direct deposits, automated withdrawals from your account and point-of-sale purchase withdrawals will NOT be processed until system maintenance is complete on the evening of Saturday, November 16. 
    • Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay and Independent Express: Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay and Independent Express WILL NOT be available during this system maintenance on Saturday morning and afternoon. When the system becomes available on Saturday afternoon, account information viewed will be up-to-date only through Friday evening, November 15. Your account information will be updated within these systems upon completion of system maintenance on the evening of Saturday, November 16.
    • Mobile Deposit: Any items deposited on Friday, November 15, 2013 using the Mobile Deposit feature on the Bank Independent Mobile Banking app will NOT be processed and therefore will not be posted to any accounts until the maintenance is complete on the evening of Saturday, November 16. 


    To avoid inadvertent overspending and keep an accurate balance during this temporary maintenance, we recommend that you log all transactions in your check register.
