    When you sign up for Bank Independent’s FREE eStatements for your personal accounts, you’ll receive statements faster, you’ll no longer have to worry about your account informa­tion sitting in the mailbox, or where in your complex filing system that statement is hiding, or (most likely) which pile it’s under on the kitchen counter. You can view your statement online and be environmentally friendly while you’re at it. We’re here to help and we’ve got the technology to do just that.

    Sign up via online banking – follow the instructions after you log-in. If you aren’t enrolled in online banking, contact Customer Service at (256) 386-5000 or (877) 865-5050 to enroll today!

    Q. Who can enroll for eStatements?

    A. Customers with checking and savings accounts. This is not currently available for business accounts.



    Q. What account types are available for eStatements?

    A. Checking and Savings accounts are available at this time.



    Q. What types of notices are available?

    A. If you enroll your checking account, you will receive a non-sufficient fund notice electronically. This is the only notice available at this time.



    Q. Are the eStatements or eNotices e-mailed directly to me?

    A. No. An e-mail notification is sent to the e-mail address you have provided to us. The e-mail simply states that your statement or notice is available to view securely in Online Banking.



    Q. I need to change my e-mail address. How can I change it?

    A. When enrolling for eStatements, you can retype it on the enrollment page by changing the primary e-mail address and verifying it
    OR
    You can update your e-mail address securely via the Options page in Online Banking.



    Q. How do I add an e-mail address to the primary name or first name on an account?

    A. Please contact the Customer Service Department at (256) 386-5000 or (877) 865-5050 to add an e-mail address to the primary name on the account.



    Q. I would like an additional e-mail notification to be sent to another person on my account. How do I enroll for additional notifications?

    A. Please contact the Customer Service Department at (256) 386-5000 or (877) 865-5050 to have an additional notification added to your account.
